Ukraine Response
From 1st April 2024 CHH partners are no longer funded to provide targeted support for the Ukrainian community under this contract, this in light of reducing demand for external support.
Previously CHH partners worked with Hertfordshire County Council to help manage the overall response, with particular input as follows:
Maintained
the ‘Hertfordshire with Ukraine’ website, which provided resettlement information and support for sponsors of people arriving from Ukraine.
Hosted
network meetings for voluntary and community groups working with the Ukrainian community.
Provided
practical support to specific individuals including advice, information and signposting to services such as language support, volunteering activities, housing support, food banks, digital support.
Supported
various community events and activities for Ukrainian families and their sponsors.
